Topps and Panini football cards 2025
Every year, the big giants in football cards Topps and Panini release new football cards in the form of new series and boxes. For several years we have had a number of products that are recurring and are starting to become real collector's favorites, in 2025 we can also expect a number of completely new products.

How do you know that football cards are from 2025?
Before we delve into more about new football cards for 2025, we should first talk about how to know that a product is for 2025. Each football season spans two years, the reason for this is because football seasons start in August each year and end in May/June. To figure out which players might be on which team, you should check where the player played during the 24/25 season starting in August and ending in May/June.
Football card 24/25
For the 24/25 season, Topps and Panini started releasing products in December 2024, products for the current season are expected to last until November 2025. If we look at history, it is only when we approach December that products for the new season start to be released. This applies primarily to products in the Hobby segment. Products such as Match Attax and Adrenalyn are usually released in connection with the start of the new season, i.e. August/September each year and are replenished as the following season progresses.
In 2025, rights will be transferred from Panini to Topps for the world's most popular football league, the Premier League.
What does that mean? - It's hard to know exactly what it means in terms of new products, but we expect a number of new products from Topps. A first glimpse is that Topps will release a completely new series in August/September 2025 which will be a Topps Premier League product , a product we believe will be similar to the current Match Attax product.
What football cards will be released in 2025?
We have a number of products from Topps and Panini that have grown into real collector favorites, these are also products we know and expect to be released in 2025.
During the spring between April-June 2025, Topps and Panini will release new products that will be released in droves. During this period, the following products are expected:
New Panini boxes 2025:
- Panini Prizm Premier League 24/25 (April)
- Panini Select Premier League 24/25 (May)
- Panini Select La Liga 24/25 (April)
- Panini Select Series 24/25 (May)
- Panini Select FIFA 24/25 (June)
- Panini NOIR Soccer 24/25 (June)
New Topps boxes 2025:
- Topps Manchester United Team Set 24/25 (April)
- Topps Real Madrid Team Set 24/25 (April)
- Topps Juventus Team Set 24/25 (April)
- Topps Simplicidad 24/25 (April/May)
- Topps Chrome UCC 24/25 (May/June)
We at drakendavids love all football card products but we have to say that an extra strong heart beats for the Panini Select products but also the Topps Chrome UCC. These are products that we are really looking forward to and we are absolutely sure that you collectors will enjoy the upcoming releases.
News Topps 2025
In addition to these products, Topps Team Sets for three of the biggest football clubs in the world, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Juventus, will be released this spring. In these team sets, we expect a fabulous mix of current top stars but perhaps especially legends. We at drakendavids recommend the Topps Team Set as a good first product for your collection. If you support one of the teams that has a Team Set, you can feel confident that you will only get football cards for your favorite team.
News Panini 2025
In addition to this fantastic period of product releases, Panini will be re-introducing a product called Panini Noir in 2025, a more exclusive product with incredibly beautiful cards. Right now, that release is expected to be around June, but it could be delayed. Panini will also be releasing a product for the Club World Cup in July, which will be the first edition of this new football tournament.
